1. Who we are
Namadhu Uzhavan ("we", "the app") is a free farm income and expense tracking application for farmers, developed by an independent developer. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.

2. What the app does NOT do
- No company server. The app does not send your farming records to any server controlled by us.
- No ads and no advertising networks.
- No analytics or trackers. We do not collect statistics about your usage.
- No selling or sharing of your data with third parties.
3. Information the app stores

When you share a report from the app (for example on WhatsApp), only the text you choose to share leaves the device, under your direct control.
4. Optional Google Drive backup
If you enable cloud backup, the app stores a single encrypted-transport backup file inside the hidden application data folder of your own Google Drive ("appDataFolder").
- The backup is stored in your Google Drive, under your Google account — not on our systems.
- The app requests permission only for this hidden app folder. It cannot see or modify any other files in your Drive.
- You can delete the backup at any time by signing out in the app and managing your Drive storage, or from your Google account settings.
- Signing in is optional — the app is fully usable without it.

5. Permissions the app requests

Each optional feature asks for permission only when you use it. Photos you attach stay on your device unless you share them yourself.
6. Data retention and deletion
- Delete everything: uninstalling the app removes all local data from your device.
- Delete the cloud backup: sign out in the app, then remove the app's data from your Google Drive (Google Drive → Settings → Manage Apps), or delete the backup file from the app's sync screen.

7. Security
Your records never leave the device except through the encrypted Google Drive connection described above. We recommend protecting your phone with a screen lock, since the app does not add its own lock.
8. Children
The app is intended for farmers and general audiences, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, the new version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
